Hot and dusty today. Got my laundry. Tomorrow, I will go to the finance office, and get some US dollars. You do not need much cash here, but I would like to keep some around, just in case. Also I need to add some money to my debit card.

Love your blog, but as a classicist I can't let this one go by.
The Ides of June are June 13th, not June 15th.
That pesky Caesar had to go get himself killed on the Ides of March, which are 15th March, one of four months that the Ides fall on the 15th.
This rhyme helped me straighten things out when knowing the date the Ides fell on was important:
"In March, July, October, May
The Ides fall on the 15th day."
Otherwise, they are on the 13th.
I shall now retire back to Pedant's Corner.
Or should that be "Pedants' Corner" as there must be more than one pedant...
Good luck, Brother!
